This temporarily modified expert level 6-day certification course provides instruction on advanced topics of Lymphedema Management, including Elastic Taping, Head and Neck Lymphedema (HNL), Axillary Web Syndrome (AWS), difficult patient case studies, advanced bandaging techniques, compression pumps, postoperative and postradiation intervention techniques, circulatory and integumentary systems, wound assessment, wound care and more. This certification course consists of three 2-day sections: ACOLS Advanced Lymphedema Management and Elastic Taping course, ACOLS Management of Lymphedema of the Head and Neck course and our new ACOLS Fundamentals of Wound Care course. This temporary offering is 4 days consisting of the Elastic Taping and Head & Neck sections. The 2 Day Wound Care section can be taken at a later date at no charge. | |
This course is 6-days in length (26 contact hours). The classroom hours are 8:00am – 6:30pm. There will be approximately one hour for lunch every day. | |
